Default Booted out of late model section?

So seeing as the new 2015 is on it's way and our 97-03's are getting another model older. How long before you think our group getting a bumped out of the late model section?

I give it until 2018, or when the new gen comes out. 15 years for last official production year sounds right... I think.

I don't think they will since our trucks are apart of the "new body style" (97-present is considered the new body style) and everything pre 1997 is the "old body style" trucks... maybe 30 yrs from now they'll be in the classic corner lol

If they weren't so damn prone to cancer, - they would last forever.

It's ugly lol. Bad thing about it is, by the time you notice it on the outside, - it's too late!

I still have to do my rockers. It's not there rusted or have holes in them. - The bottoms are completely non existent. Yea, they disappeared. Taking my time welding new ones in. Probably because you can't tell they're half gone @ 10' away yet.

Ya that sucks, mine you can shove a screw driver through them and on the passenger side there like a 10in hole... makes me cringe every time I look at them. Hopefully she'll be going through chemo therapy in a few months lol

Well, rockers are little easier to replace, -you can weld them in quicker anyway as they can handle a little more heat. Body panels you have to take your time because they warp so damn easy. Panels aren't that bad if your doing more than one at the same time. You have to Mig them in a little at a time, -so if your replacing 4 panels at once, welding them in goes allot quicker. Tack and go lol.
