In my typical workday, I am constantly getting in and out of my truck to load/unload things as well as sitting in it for long periods of time with the engine off but the lights on so I constantly run into that "bong" type sound letting me know that I've left my lights on, door open etc. Is there a switch I can flick or a wire I could cut to disable it? I'm going nuts...

 

there is prob a fuse you can pull check you owners manual

 

on lots of vehicles there is just a fuse you can pull to shut it off, check it out. but if there isn't you have to find a way to mess with the wiring, or just find the module that makes the sound and just cut one wire going to the speaker.
