I'm looking to paint my truck black in a year or so. What black has that deep look to it, like you could stick your finger into it and it's wet? I did not like the black that my '01 F250 had, looked faded too easily. I want a good, deep black. Any advice and codes would be great. Thanks guys.

L041 Porsche paint code that's a nice gloss black that looks wet when all buffed and IMO probably the best black out there as far as a shiny wet paint

I'll be getting it done professionally, I'm not comfortable enough with painting to undertake a paint job like that, especially changing colors.

My paint up close is far from perfect but from a few feet away it's flawless.. I wash and wax and for being 15 years old the black shines up real nice.. So whatever paint code f150s use isn't a bad thing to consider

Why black? Black sucks to have so bad, you can see every tiny little dust, hair, dirt particle and every little scratch ding or dent stands out a lot. I absolutely hate trying to maintain my black truck
