so im getting all the crappy plastic painted...was just wondering how anyone who has taken their bed rail plastic pieces off..there held in by the plastic clippings but i couldnt get them off to save my life...any tips or tricks?

 

I started from the side nearest to the cab. You just start pulling up and move down the bed as you go. In the beginning you may want to get a heavy duty flat head screw driver and try to pry it up. Just make sure you don't try to pry only from one side. It will bend and then crack.
