Default Bad Idle

Well this weekend my truck started idling bad. In park it idles anywhere from 450rpm to 700 rpm and sounds like its gonna die. But in drive with foot on the break its about 600. It seems like it might be missing some power too. I might just be me but it doesnt seem right. Anyone have any ideas?

Drivers side frame. Really easy to swap out a new one. How long since youve cleaned throttle body and maf? Also check for vaccuum leaks around the intake.

Replace your IAC valve. Very common on Ford.

PS. I take donations for correct answers.

hahaha

check all of the above.

plugged fuel filter can really mess stuff up especially at WOT. the IAC is another great place to look as well as any bad hoses. i had a hose with a hole in it that was giving me 3 or 4 different codes.

clean your TB, MAF, clean or replace your IAC.i dont think theyre too pricey, and check for bad vacuum lines.
