back window conversion
My 2013 Limited included an electric sliding rear window. I've owned my truck for less than a month. However, I have been through many hard rains. Count me thus far among the fortunate in that neither my BAKflip VP nor my sliding rear window show any evidence of leaking.

I was under the impression it was all of the '97-'03 F150's that ha the leak issue, not just the sliders. The reason being because of the faulty sealant they used. Also times two on having a window repair shop come out and do it for you. Most will come to your house and do it and the most important part, they warranty their work. Had to have mine done rich after I bought it, been almost a year now and absolutely no leaks.
I've never had my solid back window leak as long as I had it. Ten again I replaces the seal before it had a chance to start. Need it or not I did it lol.
Far as taking it somewhere to do it for ya. I didn't have the money they want so dd it myself for 20 bucks and not hard to do. Just make sure it's clean when put back together.

I bought the power rear slider , switch and dash surround from a wrecked 2002 Harley F150 and installed it. It was just a plug and enjoy addition.
Hint: (Check car-part.com. Thats where I got my complete setup)
Attached is a picture showing the location of the factory switch, below the headlight switch next to the adjustable pedal option.
I have an 03 f150 king ranch and it came factory with the rear power sliding window and I have never had a problem with it leaking. Either they figured it out before they made mine in 03, the guy that owned it before me fixed it, or I am just lucky lol. I will keep my fingers crossed.
