Default Auto headlight switch

I need to know if i can take out my headlight switch and switch it to the one that has the automatic turn on feature without any problems.

I think there is a light sensor that lives on the dashboard. You need that, the harness, and whatever else makes the auto headlights work. Not just the switch.

Exactly. You need to purchase that connector and a resistor

I did this on my 2012 Mustang, but everything was there for the automatic lights except the switch.
Do you have a gray bump in the middle of the dash towards the windshield? Looks a little like a small pyramid about 3/4 " tall, this is the day/night sensor. If that is there, you might be OK.

It would be a lot cheaper just to hardwire them
