Default Anybody else have this problem?

I noticed today that my window seals leak air bad, the sound of wind is not very pleasant for an hour and a half going down the interstate. Has anyone else had this problem? If so what did you do to fix it? I figure new seals would be the first thing to look at or re-aligning the door. I tried searching but couldnt find anything.

I have the same problem on my 98, I tried adjusting the seals but I think I'll just have to replace them. Only happens on the driver side but I'll replace seals on both doors.

I figured it was just seals, On my super duty I actually ran some 3/8" surgical tubing through them and that helped tremendously but idk if that will work on these, i guess ill have to check into it a little more.

The weatherstripping around the outside of the door?

Mine did that; I chalked it up to the cold weather having an effect on the rubber and just slammed the door harder. Fixed.

"Correct" fix would probably be to apply some rubber conditioner to the seals or, as a last resort, adjust the door striker, if possible.

Same thing with my 98, although it isn't noisy yet. There's a little section of the seal that dropped down a bit drivers side , -then was smashed when the door shut. Now it's like deformed.

Not noisy YET. I was thinking about trying some bonding crap and maybe a heat gun to assist... Idunno. On the to-do list. My headliner just started falling down as well. What's going on here??

It must be a plague.

I'd guess headliner might be a water leak do you have a slider window if so I'd bet it's leaking about the seal all my trucks have done it it's common with these either you'll have to deal with it or replace them

Iduno, it started falling down above the visers. There's some good write ups out there about replacing the headliners.

The headliner on my 98 is starting to sag around the visors, I guess I'm doing the interior this year. Last year was the rust... It's never ending..lol
