Default Another grille question.

I have this white bar grille, but it's the standard grille. The center piece does not come out. Could I cut it out and then use a honeycomb insert on it? If so, how would I do this? Pics would be appreciated!

P.S. I know I have asked about grilles before, but I'm just trying to go the cheaper route.
Thanks,
Robert

I have never heard of someone chopping up there grille and sticking a new one in. It would lack the clips for the support needed. Idk maybe just buy a hole new one? Not sure if they make honeycomb for your year though

I haven't heard of it either, but on an earlier thread I posted someone said I could just cut it. I never knew if anyone had done that or not.

It won't work you're talking about 2 different grilles. Not even the same shape.

Yeah I have a billet over the one I have on there now, but I have nothing else chrome except the grille so it doesn't look as good as all white. That's why I wanted to do white with a honeycomb insert.

I think it looks good, you should just paint the surround on there now.

I wouldn't mind doing that, but the center piece on this grille is the bar design also. I wanted to mount some Hellas be hind the grille and with the bar design. I think it would be hard for light to shine through.
