Default Annoying squeek in front end?

K guys, recently my truck started making a very faint squeek. Sounds like it's somewhere in the front end. It has 62k on it. Brakes are ok, pulled the wheels off last week and checked them. When I turn, it gets worse. It almost sounds like a squeeking rubber noise when I turn. But can't figure it out. It's annoying as heck with the window down! Any ideas or suggestions?

yea mine started doin this at right around 90k. it was the front upper and lower ball joints. the sensible decision would normally be to get under there and grease em but, i dont know about 2002, but my 97 didnt have any grease fittings. so i got the front replaced with factory style control arms but with grease fittins. works fine now

Ya, but of course, the ball joints don't have greasable fittings from the factory. Cuz they want them to go out and bring them back to a Ford dealer so they can put greasable aftermarket ones in there! lol!

Well, got all new ball joints up front yesterday. The squeeking is gone going around corners, but still a slight squeek going straight down the road. Any other ideas? Tie Rods were ok. Brakes are good in front, I'm gonna take the back wheels off today and see if it's maybe not the rear brake pads.

i have the same thing it sounds like my upper A arm bushings but what do you expect from a truck with 365k roughly. It has been really dry where i live so thats probly making it worse. I am going to try spraying them with a silicon lube or something.

did that with mine and it worked for a few days but then it got louder.I ended up replacing my upper controll arms and now it's quiet.
