Default Annoying Back Up Sirens

Hello all.

I just bought my first Ford Truck. 2002 Ford F150 Lariat. I love every single part of it except for 1 thing. When i put it in reverse this really annoying after market Back up siren goes on. It plays songs like o sussanna, itsy bitsy spider, london bridge etc. It didnt bother me atfirst cuz it was something to laugh about but now... im ready to beat myself senseless.

How do i go about disconnecting it? Faintly i can here the standard Beep Beep Beep which really wouldnt bother me and im guessing by law i have to have that. which is fine. but the music is killing me.

SOMEONE HELP ME! lol

You don't have to have any sort of back up beeper on your truck. can you here it inside or outside?

If its on the inside, I would set the e brake, put it in reverse and find it. If its on the outside, I would look for it near the trailer wiring, or by the tail lights because that would be the easiest place to wire it up.

Welcome to the site!

No, I would just unbolt it.

Can you get a picture of what you are talking about?

i think the speaker is under the bedliner on the right side... thats where the sound is the loudest. but inorder to get to it i have to unbolt the bed cover. and liner. this guy who put this on had alot of time on his hands.
