Default Amp problems

My girlfriend managed to rip out the remote wire that runs from my amp to the head unit. I took it all apart and reatched the wire but now my amp won't turn on. I checked all the other lines and there still connected well.
Whats wrong?

Start by checking fuses(amp, back of radio, kick panel...). May have shorted somewhere.

First i'd test my these (power, ground, and amp fuses). You can do all this by touching your remote wire from the amp, to any + 12 V supply. Just run the remote out of the amp to the power wire input on the amp(with the power wire in it too). If it turns on, all your (power and ground connections are good) if not, then you have some troubleshooting. It's not an ideal way to test, but works fine if you are careful with your connections.

You may have just blew a fuse at the headunit, typically most HU's only have about 10-15 amp fuses.
