Default Coil pack

How easy is it to change out? And
Could that be why my truck runs rough after it rains and while its raining? and after I get my truck washed??

They are easy to change out, unhook the wire harness and its just one bolt holding it in....7 or 8 mm I think. As far as the running rough...idk. lol.

It sounds like water is getting in some how. I know I've heard of people having this issue when they clean their engine bay.

Depends on which one. I changed my first coil yesterday and it kicked my butt. It was only one 7 mm bolt that i couldn't get to. It was coil #7 and i couldn't get to it so i had to remove the fuel rail. So in the process i learned how to work on fuel injectors also. I think #4 and #8 would be a pain also. Mine ran rough for a few days so i waited until it threw a code so i knew which one it was. Good luck hope its #1 or #2.

Yeah I've read several post where people did not have to remove their fuel rail but i couldn't get on it good, even with a universal joint. I don't know if yours is the same but i have a 01 f150...i only pulled up the side i needed...couldn't figure out why the rail wouldn't go back on until i realized the o-rings were still in the rail...made several rookie mistakes but learned a lot
