Hello everyone, first time user and thank you in advance for any help you may be able to give me.

I own a 1999 F150 4.6 V8 XLT. My problem is, a previous owner had installed or attempted to install a remote start and took it out or gave up on the installation and the wiring is just trashed.

My question is; Can someone point me in the direction I need to go to purchase a new harness?

That's a junk yard find right there, no real point in throwing pointless cash at some wiring harnesses that'll cost you pennies on the dollar at a salvage yard. Pull all the tampered with harnesses, stick em in your pocket, drive to a junk yard and pick up new ones. Simple fix

 

I am not sure, but a trip to your local ford dealer may be in order. or you might hit up fordparts.com and look under electrical and see if you can find a part number(s) for what you need.
