Alignment Issues
Hey I have an 03 supercrew, fx4, lifted f150. It is an awesome truck, but I have perpetual tire wear and alignment problems. I had to replace to ball joints and an idler arm recently, and I thought that would have solved my alignment quandary, but something still seems wrong. So after I fixed the obviously broken pieces, I took the truck to 4wheelparts here in Houston and they told me nothing was wrong, but the truck was out of alignment. So I got it put back in alignment. That was last week, and I think the truck is out again. I've put like 500 miles on it since the alignment. I don't drive on super terrible roads, and I don't want to go off roading until I get whatever the issue is fixed. I run the tires at the suggested pressure (40 psi). Does anyone know what could be the problem?
I've got the same truck as you with a smaller lift and I'm having the same issues. I took it offroad in the desert out west, then drove it across the country and now even the tie rods are rubbing on my frame when I turn, even though I've replaced all four. Don't know. I'm hoping one of those smart older guys jumps on this thread.
