I'd sell the entire truck for 3000, I know the transmission needs help but in that figure I'm including a 9.75 Rearend with 3.55 gears drums and the 5 lug pattern I'd planned to upgrade the truck with. So basically two working rearends. Unused primered tailgate, extra hood, used powersteering pump and resivor and a used master cylinder.

3000 would be way to high in my area, I bought my truck 97 4x4 for 1,200 and it runs fine just needed little things. You might have to reconsider that price especially if you want to sell it quick.

Yeah I agree. My dad bought a 97 with around 170k for $1500 5-6 years ago.its only 2wd but runs and drives great. I'm thinking you could probably get around $2000 if your lucky and that's if you put used tranny in it. Just my opinion!!!

$3K if you drop in a used tranny. Ones that are not derivable wind up on CL as "Mechanics Special" or "Project" - where they top out at $1,500 to 2000. You'd get $3 for a driving vehicle. Your additions / mods are what gets it to $3K. Again, this is what's posted in Atl CL. This IS F-150 Country!
