they make a add-a-leaf kit and it raises the truck about 1.5 inches in the back so it dont look so sagged in the back when you have a trailer hooked to it

Yes I have. I went down to my local spring shop, they measured for the extra leaf. I returned the next day and the shop gave me the new leafs, straps, bolts and instructions to complete the install. Had them added myself in about an hour. It does raise your truck unloaded, and it hardly drops when I load the bed. Before I would load a bed full of mulch, and my tires would go up into the fender wells, now it hardly drops with the same load. They charged $60.00

ive heard from a bunch of people you can buy some helper spring kit or something that doesnt raise the back of the truck up, and doesnt make it ride harsh, but it only "kicks in" or however you wana say it, when a heavy load is on it? can anyone give me some more info on this and who makes them etc? i dont really want the back of my truck jacked up and riding stiff as hell

I saw these Super Springs a while back and wanted them. They do just what you want. Around $500 I didn't have to spend though.
