Default Adding on factory foglights?

Hey guys, I tore my valance off yesterday after running up a high curb while parking.. I tried to lift my bumper off of it and back up but it was of no use, the valance tore right in half. I went on CL and found a whole new bumper, white OEM top pad, chrome piece, and the valance has factory foglights. My truck, as some of you know, is an XL work truck, and thus has no foglights. Does anyone know what it would take to wire these in?

Check your light switch to see if it pulls out and clicks in the "on" position. From what I've read on here some guys don't have factory mounted fog lights, but still have the switch to run them. If you don't have the switch, you could just set up a switch in your cab. I would guess it would be just as easy as hooking up a set of off road lights. My Lightforces took me about an hour to install including the time to mount them. If you need detailed instructions I can help.

yay for rippin off your valance!!!!! I did the same thing...except after i got my valance with fog light holes, its not help on by zipties

mine was prewired for lights, so if you look up under behind the bumper where the wiring would go there should be some wires, if theres a connector that looks like its for lights, check the other side, if so...then you can have fogs, plug them up and get a new switch that has a fog pull, and your golden.

I just finished adding factory fogs to my XL. Advanced Auto Parts has the right switch for $68. Or you can just jump the action side of the parking lamp and fog light relays in the fuse block under the hood and have them come on when ever the parking lights are on.
