Super simple. What kind of lift does it have in the back was it leaf springs or blocks?

add-a-leafs are simple to install, just need two clamps, a good floor jack, good set of tools and a common sense. place a clamp at each end of the leaf springs prior to removing the center pin. remove center pin lower axle out of the way, slide new center pin and add-a-leaf onto the bottom of the leaf pack, jack axle back up compressing the add-a-leaf onto the leaf pack, tighten center pin, cut off excess. reinstall ubolts and block and your good to go. just make sure you have enough ubolt to accomidate the thickness of the add-a-leaf. it takes me about a half hour in my shop with a center post lift and some screw jacks

The add - leaf does not always go on the bottom. It goes in the middle so the leaves are stacked in order still. It might be the same size as a leaf that is already in there.
