Default Accident

My wife got t-boned this weekend in my truck when a guy ran a red light. He hit my truck right on the from drivers side wheel. The wheel in now facing forward. The truck is up at the body shop right now, but what should I be on the look for because I know nothing about suspensions. What should I be sure they check? What should I make them replace? Any help would be appreciated.

Sux man, Check more than just suspension... You have break parts/lines, computer hugs the driver side hunder the hood, any motor components.... I don't mean to alarm you, but don't let another guys insurance get away with fixing the most noticable... Welcome here man!

I dont know how severe the accident was but check over the whole frame looking for anything that looks out of place and bent.

Hope everyone was alright!

That sucks man...hope everyone was alright.

Don't be afraid to get a couple estimates on how much it will cost to repair. I'd try to get someone I trusted or knew to check it out.

If you're talking about your 99, you don't have much room because of the insurance companies total at 50-75% of value. Look up the value of your truck and if you see a lot of damage it might be time to shop for a new truck. I'm glad nobody got hurt which is the most important thing.
