It may be the door. Our series is somewhat known for having issues with "that door". PITA to fix as you have to get behind the dash (as in removing the dash).

Default A/C problems on ford f150

I have noticed that these ford trucks have alot of ac problems. My 07 f150 has some weird issues in the ac. When its hot outside I get on the truck and the ac will start blowing cool air then normal air, you can actually feel the compressor clicking on and off, it blows regular air and then cold, takes like 3 to 5 minutes before it starts blowing cold air and stays blowing cold air. This also happens like if drive it for like 20 to 30 minutes, shut it off, then lets say comeback 15 minutes later and turn on the truck the ac will do the same thing.when the day is cool I do not have any problems at all. This issue has been like this since I bought the truck in 07 brand new. I have taken it to 2 different dealerships and they just cant fix it. One dealer just can duplicate the problem. I want to take a crack at it and try to fix it myself.
