That is correct.
I have NO light coming on and yes it does work.
I have a ODB2 code reader and there are no error codes stored.
Where is this ABS controller and ground wire?

Sorry about that.
You are correct.
I checked the ABS light beside the brake light and both are working when I turn the key on.
But the ABS light DOES NOT come on at all when I feel the ABS working sometimes when I am stopping on pavement. You can feel and hear the springing under the brake pedal. This used to ONLY happen when I braked and slid on ice. Now it is happening more often.

Just pull the fuse for the abs system and see if the pedal feels normal...one of the big problems with fords isn't the sensors as much as the grounds..if you pull the fuse the light (ABS) will stay on..if the pedal feels regular than you have a problem with the grounds..also pull off the battery cales and see it it clears any problems..

I pulled the ABS fuse out and the ABS light stayed on.
I drove around town and it felt normal again.
I put the fuse back on and the ABS light went out.
It seems to be braking OK now but I did not go very far and I am sure it will happen again.
Where is this ground I should be checking?
