Default ABS light on dash

after we got alittle snow here in KS. My son and I were doing some donuts in 2wd at a local parking lot. As we left I noticed my ABS light come on and stay on. I was relived when after I turned the truck off and back on it went away. But what would cause this to happen?
thanks

I have a 97 and my ABS light comes on every time is has been raining after setting overnight. After restarting the motor each time the light goes out. It's been doing that for years

Trying going to each sensor, disconnect, put some electrical silicone on the connector and reconnect, this should help keep the water out. DO NOT USE THE NON ELECTRICAL HARDNEDING STUFF.

I had the same issue with a 2000 Windstar. Never solved it.

Replace rearend speed sensor. Ford p/n DY1123. You'll notice that the performance is better too. Easy fix. 7/16 socket is all that's needed.

Input goes to the computer and it learns how you drive. It does more than just ABS.

And what does it learn, and what exactly does it adjust?

when your back tires are doing 70 and your left front isn't moving, and your right front is going about 7, the computer gets a little confused about what the wheel speed sensors are telling it. been there, done that, got the light, shut it off, restarted, no problems since. Man, nothing swings donuts like an F150 with an empty bed. You should try wet, muddy grass. Preferrably not your own, LOL!!!
