Let me tell you a story... I've been through quite a bit of grief with my truck lately, first the rear end went out and had to buy a new carrier because my spider gears were missing teeth and a few were cracked getting ready to break off (Its a previous condition in the making before I bought the truck apparently since I don't tow). I felt a hesitation during take off from stop sign or traffic light, and a jerk when coming to a stop... Got it repaired from tranny shop, and got 4.10's installed while it was apart. 1276 miles later my brakes started acting erratically and I felt a crunch in the brake pedal and actually felt the ABS pump pulsing the brake pedal. No dash light... 3 effin weeks at the mechanic shop and wave length signal was different from front to rear ( I have 4-wheel ABS). Last thing the mechanic shop did was pull the diff cover and sure enough teeth were missing on my ABS pick up ring inside the rear end...

Soooooooo...... for all you out there getting gear swaps make sure that the shop cleans out the diff tubes and housing before they install new parts!

Almost a month without my truck and $2.2k later I had to vent. Sorry guys. I'll add pics later of what they found.
