Default AAL's vs blocks

ok so I'm thinking I'm gona get some new torsion keys, new front and rear shocks, and either 4" blocks or 2" add a leafs. are the AAL's going to give me a better ride or is there a difference between the way AAL's ride and blocks? which should I go for?

i would think AALs would give you a much better ride than blocks, the leafs will bend, blocks wont. i could be wrong though.

Just a question, but wouldn't AAL add more resistance and thus make your suspension stiffer? & blocks still use the exact same suspension so you shouldn't see any difference at all? Just wondering.

Either way, I can't wait to see what it looks like afterwards. I'm sure it'll look good either way!

AAL's essentially are a stiffer and more arched piece of leaf spring that you add into your OEM leaf pack to gain height and it does add stiffness. I've ran 2" up to 5" lift blocks with several different kinds of shocks and noticed little difference in ride quality. The worst ride I had was when I ran 4" blocks with OEM 150k mile rear shocks. When I unbolted them for replacement, one fell apart and the other had no pressure left.
