I have a black 99" F150 and was just wondering on some cheap mods that anyone can suggest. Its only 2wd short bed with and extended cab. Really looking to level it, or raise it 3" with a body lift, and suggestions

Trying to think of things under $100: Replace the stock muffler with a magnaflow or dynomax bullet. The leveling the front will be a little tougher since it's 2wd. I don't have a problem but people have their own opinions about body lifts. Maybe lightning headlights and a billet grille for appearance. What size of engine and a budget will help us give better suggestions too. Welcome

 

5.4 V8, and around 500$ or so on lifting and what not.

 

Body lift is going to run in the $300 range plus install which can make it $800+. Look at a 2" daystar leveling kit to raise the front up. Cheaper and is a good half day DIY project. You may need an alignment after though. If you want to go a performance route the SCT xcal 3 would be a quality tuner at the lower cost since it is a hand held. A programmer will give you the most bang for your buck and make the truck more fun to drive.

 

How hard is it to put a body lift on a 2wd?

 

a body lift will run you 170. leveling kit probly a hundred. they make a 2 inch suspension lift on jcwhitney.com for $150
