I haven't had the time to go back and look up the receipts on the parts used for tuning the engine. I only purchase quality and buy mostly from nearby Summit. My mechanic who only uses oem, supplied a few of the parts. He's already scanned the engine everything is fine there.Once he and I both have the time to duplicate the condition we are going to check the fuel delivery. Right now, though I'm conscience of the request for part names, I'll continue to focus on the many trips to the VA because of my back, a stent, etc

With coils and plugs, it's too easy to purchase knock-offs or inferior plugs for these engines. In fact there are much more incorrect choices vs the right ones which make matters worse.
You mentioned quality replacement parts were used. A scanner won't always tell you your using junk replacement parts, the vehicle will run poorly until the part fails completely producing a CEL.
I'm betting you installed junk/cheap ignition parts. That's usually a given being you have no idea what you installed.

Really? I don't doubt your experience about this but it's a first for me to hear this one. How does a spark plug boot become marginal or degrade because an engine is warmed up? I try to keep a notebook of what to me appears to be an unexpected anomaly and this would fit right in--again, for me anyway.
