When mine is in that condition I also really rifle through some gas. You're saying it was one of your two rear oxygen sensors ? Did you replace them both or went by what your CEL directed if it got that specific ? Thanks

yeah I changed only the specific one the CEL pointed to. I should have changed all of them as JBREW advised me but to date I have yet to get around to it and that was over 2 years ago. Haven’t had any problems but I am sure the day is coming.

Yeah... don't just start throwing parts at it. Seriously, listen to my advice before you start replacing S4!t on a whim.

Gotcha ! I'll check that fuel pressure first. I'm taking it seriously. Thanks

Thanks . Believe I got some good advice on here. I'm going to get the intermittent condition in play. Once it is behaving bad, I'll check fuel pressure then have a scanner check those oxygen sensor readings and see what's what. I'll let you guys know what I come up with.

I'm curious, are you saying the engine runs normal if the AC is off?

Hi thanks for checking in. This started happening at the beginning of the summer this year. So I don't know if it's coincidental to me using the ac. When it starts running bad, losing power, if I cut the ac off, it continues running poorly. It will only run properly again after stopping, cutting it off and cooling down. But if I get back in stop and go traffic, occurs frequently, making trips to the VA Hospital in Atlanta, it'll start choking back down again.

I asked because there's a PCM strategy between throttling (fuel) and the AC clutch operation but it doesn't sound like that's your issue. It should have no effect with the AC off.

I just had a similar issue last week. I had to let it cool down for the power to return. No cel. Turns out the issue was the spark plug boots... I would have never of guessed..

So i guess what I’m trying to say is that it really could be anything..

Now that's a new one.
