97 f150 won't turn over
Have 97 f150. 4.6 manual trans. When I turn the key the solenoid on the firewall clicks. I replaced it the battery is good and I cleaned all the cables. I also tried jumping the solenoid and that doesn't work either. Appreciate any suggestions!

Check the starter itself. It could be locked or just worn out. If the solenoid clicks and won't short across, then the item left is the starter or a bad cable. Good luck.

Right, it's usually that big cable that hooks just before the starter connect. Develops pin holes with time and corrodes at the bend. Yea, that's if you can't jump the relay or solenoid on the firewall to start.
Clean all connections well...even if they look clean. Any oxidation can cause a no-start.

Also, try putting it in park , out then in and roll the forward or back until it stops. Then give it a shot. Try it in neutral as well.

Changed solenoid and starter. Turn the key and it turned for a half second and wouldn't turn over anymore. Just clicks fast. Windows only work with the key off. Like after u shut truck off before opening doors. Battery is charged and its a manual trans

Yea, did you check the battery w/load. It's sounds like the battery. Charged or not, it has to remain that way with a load on it.
