I love mine. It's mildly modded, so if you're looking for a power or MPG comparison to something else I can't help you too much, but the ride and overall experience I have is great. I like having the super cab, my last truck was a single cab ranger 5 speed and there just wasn't enough room in there for anything. The only thing that sucks is in 97 there's only one rear door, behind the drivers seat is just a wall. That's really my only gripe, besides that I like everything about my truck.

Yeah mine's not under powered at all haha. If you haven't pinpointed the cylinder yet you can unplug the plug wires at the coils one by one and the missing cylinder will NOT make the truck run worse when you unplug the wire to it. That only works with a dead miss obviously. After you pinpoint the cylinder(s) you can swap plug wires to see if the miss moves. If it doesn't it's probably just the plug. If it's not the plug, you can swap the coils side to side and then you can tell if it's the coil. If it's not that, it could be the injector, or something in the head on that cylinder. Good luck finding it! It can be a PITA.

Motorcraft. It's not worth the trouble you get from any other brand for the $10 you save. Autolites would be my second choice, but I always push Motorcraft plugs, wires and all filters. Other stuff there's plenty of aftermarket companies that make just fine products, but when you're talking the vital organs, I always push the OEM brand. Motorcraft is made by Ford for Fords.

I love mine. Mine has the off-road package with 3.73 gears. Has a nice pull while still getting good gas mileage. It would have a lot more noticeable power if I didn't have 33's on it. But with a CAI and True Dual exhaust, it's a nice truck.

Try gotts modding it and changing most of the gear fluids could help, i change the rear end fluid and seemed to be a bit difference but that could have just been in my head. The old fluid looked bad though.

I love mine but my only complaint is that I have 3:31 gears so it's just a little under powered but I make it work 8)
