Default 7700 or f250 ld brakes

Alright guys its been a while since ive been on but Im runnin into a problem with my brakes and lookin at swappin out the calipers if its possible. Out of curiousity will the 2000 7700 or 98 f250 ld calipers fit the 97 f150 or what would be a better alternative to the two of these. I want to say that there was some people on here that said they had swapped their brakes over to either one of these 2 or expedition calipers, so any insight would be great guys.

All you need for expy breaks is a rotor, caliper mount and caliper.
I don't know if there is a size differance for the f250 ld. But the rotors from the ld wouldn't fit if they have 8 lug or whatever.

i actually just found the thread from a while back that somebody started and they said that you need expo rotors with 2000 7700 series calipers for the best stopping. Now im curious if anybody else has done this swap?

I did aftermarket calipers and rotors for an Expidition. The reason people say to go with the 7700 calipers is because they have steel pistons (make sure you order the ones with steel pistons as I believe it is an option, not standard). If I remember right 7700 and Expedition calipers are the same size, it's just what the piston is made out of.

Alright thanks man just one last question if anybody knows this. Will I run into to clearance issues with my stock 16 in rims?

I can't tell you for sure, I was told that I would not run into clearance issues. Someone said that Expeditions came with 16" wheels, not sure on that though.

It seems like I read a thread that someone said 16" would not clear. Not 100% sure but like 90%.
