Default 7 lug conversion?

I know I've seen a thread on this before but I can't find it.

What do I need to know about a 7lug or 7700 conversions onto a SCREW? Is there anything besides money and big parts swapping that needs to be done for this?

A 'pretty drive line' is not to be underestimated.

Haha not sure what I was trying to say in that. Too many budweisers I would assume.

You want to turn your 7700 into a screw or your screw into a 7700?

Either way buying a complete parts truck is the way to go.
I was going to do this a few years ago but the 7700 "parts" truck I bought was such a nice truck that I didn't have the heart to disassemble it .
Instead I put a good 5.4 in it and sold it.

What is different about the 7700 IFS than the standard? I'm assuming it's not just a couple hubs, and Tbars.

I'm going to start loading up the F150 and I'm not sure 5 lugs can cut it where I want to take it. ..but I don't want an F250 or something else.

You really don't need 7700 parts. The 5 lug /9.75 is plenty strong. A set of AAL's and 7700 T Bars should more that do it suspension wise (maybe a set of Monroe shocks)
Who needs a 3/4 Ton

I want the truck to handle Overlanding through some rough country and I've seen 5 lug just shear right off. ..I guess I've seen the same from 6, 7 and 8 lug trucks as well but I'd rather be in the top of the list than the bottom.

There are better vehicles to do what I want but I like the Screw and I'm not ready to sell it off.

What are you worried about more? Front or rear? The front is not much heavier in term of gvrw parts
