^ this, its not so much the tune in the engine, but more if you have a race tune for your transmission. Because then it doesn't really shift before 2000 rpm. Otherwise they are all really great tunes.

But if you are using a perf tune for a dd don't have the trans setting any higher than street.

Well I want a conservative performace for a DD because I have read that the performance tune will give the drivetrain more power to turn larger tires

I'm going to call MPT this morning at find out which tune that will be good for my truck since it is my DD. and see if they can swap the tune. I want to be able to chirp the tires going into 2nd gear

With just a tune causing that I'd think that would have some really harsh shift points

Also does the sct x3 allow you to adjust the shift points on a custom tune?

I think you can adjust the points up or down but I didn't really want to mess with it. But don't get me wrong their perf/race tune makes for a fun ride.

So you run the tow tune as your dd? Have seen any change in mpg?
