Could be a coil pack. I had one going bad and it would act up in the rain. THen it went out completly. I had ford troubleshoot it.

Water in the plug wells could definitely be the problem, in fact its the usual cause of a misfire.

I pulled one of my plugs and there was alittle water in it, around the boot, happens, the coil pack is prob your problem but if the plugs have not been changed that you know of i would change them. i Did mine and it feels better and with that new coil its even better.

I agree it is probably a coil pack going bad. I have one doing the same thing now and its the #2 cyl misfiring after a rain storm situation. I watched them the first time this happened to mine at the ford dealer and they sprayed each coil one at a time with a water bottle till it missed out bad and thats how they found it. I have done it twice since and it always seems to work for me.
