Need advise finding electrical problem had motor running trying to find vacuum leak when I saw a loose wire coming out of left coil loom messed with it when it touched something heard a spark when motor died now it will not run I'm thinking it blew fusible link or something but need help figuring out what this wire is it's red with a green line coming out of the loom but can't figure out where it goes

 

Make model year and post a picture. IF, you want help. Red/green stripe and routing should be easy, but with limited info from you......nope!

 

Check the power distribution box under the hood at fuse 21.

Yea, I think there's Red/Green there, without going to the schematics. Just guessing at this point,- loose wire prob for a car starter connect. RPM/Coil branch.

 

I thought he might need his truck, but he never replied, so I'll play along next time.

 

That's alright, I know green w/red stripe well enough in the harness. Red w/green stripe I just recall. Guessing at #7 coil ground. I'll look up here in a bit. If the guy replies back maybe.
