Hello, new to the forum. I have a couple of questions. I have a ‘97 F-150 standard cab long bed with the 4.6 v8, off road package with manual 4x4 floor shifter. I’m having an issue with the “4x4 high” mode, when selected it works at first but seems to rev high and then falls out of selection and into neutral. Works fine in 4x4 low and 2wd no problem. What could be possible causes?

My next question is I need to replace my shocks front and rear. Looking for comfortable ride, with long life and friendly on the wallet. Any suggestions? Not looking to modify or gain performance just want comfort and budget friendly.
