Default Driving on 7

Hi, I apparently had a problem with detonation on my 97 with the 5.4 and suffered a melted plug on the number 3 cylinder. The threads are damaged on the head and I want to get it to my local ford house to let them deal with it. My question is, can I drive it safely the 4 miles to the shop if I disconnect the injectior on that cylinder with no plug?

Personally, I would have it towed. Probably be OK, but I'm not a gambler on stuff like that.

Your insurance may pay to have it towed for you. I know mine would.

No coil no injector no plug.
Yes you can probably drive it

Be forewarned, it's going to be loud. Like you don't have a tailpipe.

Now should you that's another question.
Because that's cylinders pumping air into the exhaust, messing up o2 analyzer
If it were an open loop mode probably would not matter. When it detects the misfire problem is it does it stay in open loop?

I just have it towed of it was mine personally.

Thank you both. I do have roadside on it and can get it towed for free. Was more wondering because it would have been easier to work around my schedule. I'll get it towed to be safe.
