The previous owner clayed and waxed the truck before I bought it and he said the clay bar took off the 4x4 decals. Sounds silly but I like truck bed decals. Now, I'm not 100% sure but I think my XLT has the 4x4 offroad package. It does have the skid plates but the 3.55 gears. Anyways...has anyone put the 09+ 4x4 off road decals on these gens? Thoughts? I don't want the FX4...I mean no offense but it isn't a fx4 so I'm not going to pretend it is. Looked at 2 different trucks that had fx4 stickers and listed them as fx4 but on carfax they weren't.

 

doesn t matter... go to ebay and find the 4x4 stickers you want and plug em in!

I went for a more OEM look when I put mine on, but I now wished I had just picked a more cool design. Get what you want... less chance of regret.

 

I went with the camo decal since I'm am doing a camoflage theme for my truck

 

Since my truck is white I like the bigger block letters of the 09+...think I'll go that route.

Ordered an 09+ 4x4 Off-Road decal in glossy black. Mods have begun...

Going to paint the plastic bed caps and grill a semi-glossy black since their faded. The OEM fender flares are oxford white, but I like the look of different color painted ones so I'll do those next. My old 07 FX4 had the grey ones but I think Oxford white/black combo may look better. Not sure yet...still debating. Took me like 3 days to decide which color my 4x4 decal would be. Couldn't decide between grey and black.

 

No offense to anyone but seems like almost every pic I look at that has different decals on. They don't line them up correctly

 

Yeah ^ I'm going to really study where the OEM alignment on these go. I'm so **** about the little stuff.
