Default 4.88's or 4.56's?

I'm real close to ordering gears and I wanna know what you guys think...... My truck is a 97 f150 with the 4.6 with a 6in lift and 35's.... I tow boats/jet skis a lot in the summer and have to go over a 5400ft pass for college and I really need the power back.... I've ran 37's before and if a good deal rose on some, I'd go back to 37s..... If I did 4.88's, would that be too much for 35s and free way driving? Or should I just do 4.56s? I got 3.55 now so anything helps

4.88's without a doubt. Will put you back in the correct range for ratio for 35's or 37's.

Ya I agree! I know a lot of guys that have spent all the money to regear and wish they went lower! Go with the 4.88s. With a 4.6 and 35" tires you will have your power back and still be able to tow with a 37

If you have the 5.4 you will be fine with 4.88s. But 5.13s would be better! Lol

4.88's! I've had mine installed for over a week now. My power is back and my MPGs are at ~16 MPG. I also had the Edge Evo CS installed.
Here's a gear chart from quadratec.com

And for RPM at highway speeds, I haven't paid attention. I was averaging 22 MPGs after a 25 Mile trip at ~65 MPH, according to the Edge programmer.
