Gears are going to be very expensive unless you do them yourself which I've heard is not a beginner job and is quite difficult I've heard if you've never done it before.

Bad idea!!!!! If you have no idea how the suspension geometry works you are probably going to kill yourself or someone else with that thing on the road there are threads about homemade lifts on here

I have only seen threads about torsion keys and blocks nothing involving diff drops or anything like that
