Default 4.6 engine

Just purchased a used 2003 f150 and love it. Has a 4.6 engine matched to a 5 speed manual transmission. Anyone know anything I can do to get a little more horse power out of the engine without getting too much into the motor?

Tuner (Good Potiential, good amount of power increase)

Intake (Not much)

Exhaust (Not much)

Heads (bigger)

Headers, Long Tubes (Good)

I ran Diablo tuner, had zero problems with it. Im ready to sell it and get a new lift.

Depends how much money you want to drop. I would start with a Tuner and Exhaust and move on from there. Look on you tube to find an exhaust you like. Its basically all sound though.

All the bolt ons available won't bring you into 5.4 territory.. unless you're counting forced induction, spray, or heads as "bolt ons". Good luck though, I did a slew of bolt ons to my 97' 4.6 and it was still weak until the day I wrecked the truck. It was reliable though, it never once failed to start when I turned the key.

I bet you I could only use bolt ons and get to 260 Crank horse power. Its only 25 horses.
