alrighty.... i have 285 70 17s on the truck now but before winter i need new tires... heres the thing can i fit 35s on the truck? i got 4.5back spaced wheels with -12mm offset with a 2inch leveling kit...do i just need to trim my valance? also will they rub at full lock? and the other downer... i got 3.31 gears... i dont want to lose toooo much outta this thing nor strain my tranny... but i do have the 5.4l....

i got a 4.6 and i have a 3 ionch body lift and im running 35in bfg all terrains and they do rub a little on the frame when fully turned, but i have factory wheels and my trucks got plenty of sac especially in 4 low in 1. and is webser near nh

with 4.5" backspacing you will have to trim about 1.5-2" off the bottom of the front valence. You should not have any frame rubbing issues. I'm running the same setup.

still think you should go 35's, but i've heard nothing but good things about the cooper's, my neighbor has em on his chevy and loves em

There's a good chance I'll run em after my current 35's run out, but I couldn't pass up the price I got the buckshots at
