Default 3 exhaust options need help

Right now I have a single 3" dumped at cab.

Should I keep 3" and exit before wheel single exhaust

Should I keep 3" with a muffler that exits. With duels 2 1/2" exit before wheel

Should I single 2.5" all the way threw before the wheel

Plan to use cherry bomb extream for all love the sound on a buddy's f1

Also this is to help mileage that's why I may change it up

Are you asking muffler back? Or cat back? Or full exhaust?

If it were me I'd keep it dumped behind the cab.

If I were you I'd run 3" no muffler behind the tire. It's loud enough when you want it to be and doesn't drone. I had a cherry bomb extreme right before the rear tire and it was the most annoying thing while driving on the highways and stuff. But this is just my opinion

I like to keep my cab "semi" quite, and like the looks of duals out the rear... so thats my vote. Not that was an option, just my opinion.

It's a cat back system. It had a full 3" back behind the rear wheel system by magnaflow. And we had a drunk night started talking and well this is what happened.

The main reason for yet another change is after words I dropped to 11.8 mpg!!! From a amazing 13. I know it's not much but the pump already bites my a** i don't want it to take a bite for the other cheap also!!!

I also hate exhaust drone. So I guess new question.

I want it loud when I get on it but quality sounding all the time basically open to options at this time

Not sure what exact sound you are after... I'm by no means an exhaust expert, but I've had this setup, since around 2005 and mpg and performance are about the same.

3" duals all the way back to an X pipe before the rear axle.
