I'm about to pick up some 20x14 fuel Mavericks for Clifford, and was wondering if they would rub with my lift? I have a 3" body lift and cranked keys, so probably around 5 inches of lift. And the tires are 35x13.50r20

Absolutely they will rub like ****, if they even turn. Expect to be replacing axle bearings and seals within 5k. My wheels have caused a bad seal already. Expect to drop lots of money on upkeep if you decide to go this route these trucks were not designed for this much stress but I love mine so for me it's worth it. I have 20x12s with 1.5" spacers and mine rubbed like crazy with a leveling kit and 33x12.5s

EDIT: just saw you said 35s... YEAH RIGHT!! No way on this planet your getting those to turn

Also is this a daily? Because your going to Hate not being able to park or go through any drive throughs ever again. My truck is to wide to fit through most places like going through drive throughs at the bank or even parking I take up line to line. It's a bit unpractical

Thanks for the input! If I got some 33s with the 14 wides would it still rub like crazy? Thinking about going that route instead of lifting it more

You might be able to get away with that with a little trimming. I'd have to do the math on how wide my are exactly because of the spacers. But I'd imagine they're pretty close give or take 10mm. Just definitely can't go 35x13.50

I'm thinking about a 305/50r20 nitto 420! Would I be able to stretch a 14 wide onto that tire you think?

I'm right there with you.

And to the OP, it's stupid to buy a tire that's smaller than the rim it's intended for and dangerous.

People mount 26x16s he would be fine with 14s of course they aren't meant to be off-road wheels but wide offset is the "new" thing these days. If you go to sema you'd have a hard time finding a truck that's not atleast 12 wides. Just all depends what he's building the truck for. I wouldn't call him stupid for getting 20x14s I'd be jealous. It's one of those "to each their own" deals. More of an everyday street queen look.
