Default 2003 radiator inlet plastic?

I thought I'd ask before tearing the truck apart. Are the inlet and outlet of the radiator plastic? Looks like it to me.

Yes, both tanks are plastic, crimped to an aluminum body.

They've only been putting plastic side tanks on aluminium parallel flow radiators for the last 25 to 30 years.....

I assume you are asking because you want to put a sensor somewhere for your electric fan install? I suggest buying a "T" from someone like Glowshift. This is the one I bought for mine... I am doing a T-Bird/Cougar fan swap though. They are under 20 bucks.
