Default 2002 f150

I have a 2002 F150, 4.2L, V6, 2wd. I was driving down the road with no issues or noises, then it just lost power and shut off like it's not getting gas and now won't start. I changed the fuel filter, it was full of gas, the fuel pump comes on but just doesn't seem to be getting fuel to start. Anyone know of a direction I should go to get it running again.

To get the ball rolling, rent a fuel pressure gauge (autozone or other) and report back on findings. You likely have an electrical issue and it could be the fuel pump driver module.

That truck doesn't have a FPDM...none of these trucks do.

Find your fuel pressure relief valve. See if you have pressure to there. CE light on?

Any vehicle 20+ years old regardless of mileage should have most if not ALL of the secondary components replaced. Egr valve, fuel pressure gage, idle control, fuel pump etc.
You may think that's expensive but not nearly as much if your caught in the middle of nowhere and you have to call a expensive tow truck and your at the mercy of the nearest tech shop.
Most of those parts are around $50 each and easy to replace by yourself on a Saturday.
Just a tow could be $250 plus....easy.
This is how I roll and I've never been stranded.
