Default 2001 won't start

Not the first time posting with this title.

2001 SCrew King Ranch 5.4L V-8 4x4 149,xxx

PCM was replaced late July, along with Crank Shaft sensor.

Go out to start my truck, cranks strong for several seconds but won't fire. I hear fuel pump (was replaced last year) kicking on to prime. Also have an UltraGuage so i can see my Battery Voltage and it was a steady 13.3-13.4 before trying to crank, where it will drop to 12 and 11 after a few seconds.
Had a friend come try to jump start me to no avail. Had a good connection because I would watch the battery voltage go up to 13.7 volts at times.

Thinking of starting with a new battery, as it has been at least 2 years. Weather was a nice 64* this morning around 11:30am when I tried to start it.
Truck ran last night at 1am with no problems.

Send all thoughts to the reply's, as I am again at a loss for what is going on.

I know it is about time for new plugs and everything, but would that cause it to not start at all??

No, doesn't "click click click" when I go to start it, like a dead battery

It is cranking normally, just won't fire. Fuel pump activates, so it's probably electrical somewhere.

Have you already tried spraying starter fluid into the intake to confirm it's a fire problem and not fuel?

I'm chasing a similar problem. However I think mine is related to the fuel pump. Just not sure if it's the pump or a sensor.

I've had the same symptoms except my truck has never failed to start, takes a good 10seconds sometimes but I just want to fix it before it dies and leaves me stranded. I've been chasing it for about a year now... Still trying to avoid the $170 for a new fuel pump assembly
