2001 spindle change

I want to put my '05 lariat 18" rims in my son's '01 truck. My rims are 6 lug and his truck is 5 lug. Is it easy enough to change out the spindle? What can I expect to spend to do it?

Hmmm depends on if they would bolt up and the cvs would slide through them. Also if the abs connectors are the same. Otherwise wheel adapters would be an option.
