Default 2001 no crank after changing flywheel

Hey guys got a 2001 F150 with the 4.6 in it. The flywheel cracked so I changed it out and put the tranny back in. Now it won't crank just clicks any suggestions?

Assuming the battery is known as good, since you just had the starter out, I'd check the connections there.

Yea, check your work for sure. Something forgotten or you got it wrong maybe.

Also, - these connections can be finicky as hell at first. If you didn't clean connections before reconnecting cables/wires, - every one, good chance of getting a bad connect within the system. Hell, I've had that occur with cleaning everything first. If that's the case, loosen, reset the cable/wire and re-tighten. Like I said, they can be picky at the connection.

Multi-meter would come in handy. Connect up top, then connect to starter posts. Simple continuity check may present the bad connection. The cable may have power, but is the starter/solenoid post receiving it ? A cable can look clean but with copper, you can't always see corrosion. They can oxidize making corrosion naked to the eye. Yea, can be THAT picky lol.

Torque converter seated fully? Any trouble getting the transmission to bolt up?

I agree with (97Badass) put a breaker bar and socket on the crank bolt and see if you can turn engine over by hand.... might be bound up on converter.
