Ok I got one more question Browning. I want to put in the ambient interior lights like your but I have thought about it and since they will only be on at night is there a way to wire them up to the head lights or any other lights that automaticly come on at night? If it easy enough maybe I can even find a way to wire it into the dimmer switch in the dash just figured it would be nicer/cleaner to wire them up into the stock switches.

Yeah you can pull power off the park lights, that'll either be the brown or yellow wire off the headlight switch, I'll have to check which one.

Will the dimmer control them from that wire? Also what's the best way to splice the new wires in?

No that's the park light wire. Just use a regular wire splice for that. I'd solder everything after that like on the wires and where you split the wire off the splice, I'd only splice into it once so as to not have a bunch of breaks in the wire.
